Did any other bride go to try on dresses with your ideas from pinterest ready, and walk out with a style you never thought you would get? That was me! For as long as I can remember, all I wanted was lace!
Lace sleeves, lace train.
But when you go to put it on…you just know! I had a “just know” moment when I put on THE one!
My dress is special in more way than one. Which is perfect because I wanted it to have a story. The dress I chose came from the same store my mom got her dress from. When I tried on my dress, the song Arc and I want to have our first dance too came on!
Yes.. I cried!
So obviously this one was “the one”! Of course my mom said “this is the first store, lets try a few more before we make a decision.” So we went to a few other places, but nothing sang to me like that one did! I saw myself saying I do in this dress!
So this past weekend I picked up my wedding dress! I will be honest, I was a little nervous about putting it on! I picked my dress out a year and a half ago, so I was worried if I would still like it! However, I am pretty sure I liked it more! My mom captured two beautiful photos of me trying it on and it was so hard to not share! So instead, I’ll share some other dresses I tried on!

Even though I have to wait another year to walk down the aisle, doesn’t mean I can’t wear it around the house!
Now the best part!! ACCESSORIES! I wanted to wait to get the dress in to shop around for veils! I’ve also found some wonderful pendents on etsy! Ladies if you are on a budget, go to etsy!!! Below is a few inspirations from my pinterest board!

When I first watched Father of The Bride I knew I would always walk down the aisle in a cute tennis shoe!
This is definitely the start of many blog post to come about the dress, but wanted to share my special moment picking out and retrieving my dress!
A big Thank you to Pearls place for being so wonderful and my amazing bridesmaids for being there for me from afar! I love y’all!
